Shea Moisture Launch in Lagos

Hi darlings,

Hope you are all doing great? Been a while...

So I was lucky to get invited to the Shea Moisture Product Launch in Lagos last month by Oma of Sotectonic. It was a beautiful event held at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island. The event was to begin by 4pm but as at the time I got there around 4:30pm, they were still setting up the products to be sold.

Bukky of Curlvolution was the host of the event put together by Chisuf Ventures for Shea moisture. We were informed about the ranges of the Shea moisture brand and what they can do to our hair. From the Raw shea butter line to the African black soap, the Jamaican black castor oil and Coconut and hibiscus line.

My favourite of the products talked about was the African black soap range, which has tea tree oil in it. But by the time I got to the stand to get what I needed, it had run out of stock.  So sad... As I was not able to use the 20% discount card that we were all given. Oh well, I enjoyed the event all the same.

I met some natural hair bloggers and stylists at the event. Although, I was not able to take so many pictures, here are some you can feed your eyes on. Enjoy!

You can shop for Shea moisture products here.

Gidi Bazaar

Hey lovelies
How are you all doing?

I haven't blogged in a while and I feel bad about it. It's been crazy trying to manage two businesses coupled with the fact that I'm still undergoing my service year. But I'm getting there, things would change pretty soon as service year would coming to an end and I'd have more time.

So I was thinking of a post and thought to share an event - Gidi bazaar, I attended last month. Gidi bazaar is a one-stop business exhibition organized to feature products and services from different brands in Nigeria. It took place on the 30th and 31st of Janaury (However, it's done every month) at Bar25, Banana Island road, Ikoyi. I went there as a vendor to sell natural hair products (I once mentioned it. Check out our page to order for any product here) and it was my first official open exhibition. I was so glad I attended. My friend and I together and paid for a stand at the event.

We sold lots and lots of products. Infact, I felt we were the only ones selling... lol

Three years Natural Hairversary

Happy New year in advance lovelies. How has the holiday been?

Mine has been great. Spending time with family and friends. Also, I was gifted a Dslr camera for Xmas; perfect Christmas gift, right? It came at the right time. Totally unexpected as I was saving up for it. God is great, I can't shout. I want more surprises like this in 2016. Amennnnn
So you all should be expecting more quality pictures in the coming year.

My hair is 3years today yaaaaay!. Although i'm on a protective style at the moment, I took a picture of my hair length before I made it. It's about 10 inches now. It has come a long way
3years of growth... very realistic right?
It's been three years of growth asides breakage, shedding and trims. Edges intact and on fleek. Hair is thick and I'm learning so much as I care for it.
My very big chop hehehe
